OUR STORY

Growing up, there weren’t many projects around the house that my dad and I didn’t do. If we were semi-capable of completing a task, we would figure it out and do it ourselves. Paying someone else to do the job was saved for tasks that were truly too large for us to complete alone. From building a deck, constructing a fence, or adding new siding to the house, my dad and I did it all while learning along the way. This “teach yourself” mentality was the foundation of my woodworking journey.

Fast forward 15 years, and woodworking began as a hobby with pieces of furniture that my wife and I needed around the house. I began learning about the craft by reading books, magazines and through various online resources. With every piece that I built, I wanted to improve. To become more refined. More polished. More professional. This growth led me down the path to create Daltry Woodworks with the desire to build fine furniture to be enjoyed by others.
